Parish Church of San Giacomo Apostolo

Friuli Collinare - Parish Church of San Giacomo Apostolo
This church is dedicated to St. James the Apostole and it aquired its current structure in the early 1700s. The most important work of art is the stone baptismal font, which is the work of Carlo da Carona, and that dates back to the years between 1520 and 1530. Another major feature is the 18th century altar made by Giacomo Contiero da Udine, the high Baroque style altar, and a cycle of 19th century frescoes painted by Lorenzo Bianchini inserted inside both the chancel and in the nave.
