This church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. While it's of truly ancient origins, dating back to the 12th century, the existing church assumed its current appearence during the 17th century. It houses a walled bas-relief from the Roman period, probably from the 1st century AD, depicting two heads, and, among the others, a Byzantine-style fresco dating back to the 13th century.
