Even though the current building dates back to the early 1900s the church retains elements that testify to its ancient origin, like the fresco depicting St. Christopher on the facade (probably dating back to the 14th century) and the circular Romanesque apse with a six-sectioned splayed round window. The church also houses a number of 18th century frescoes that have just recently been restored.
