The church is dedicated to St. Lawrence, and it's located near the old cemetery of San Lorenzo. The church was rebuilt after the earthquake of 1976, and retains its original 16th century layout. On the inside the most significant remains of Romanesque frescoes, attributable to the 11th and 12th centuries, present in Friuli Venezia Giulia can be found. Not far from the current building the excavations with the remains of the ancient church can be observed (dating back to the 10th-11th centuries).
