The current church stands out for its elaborate facade (made in 1924). On the inside, consisting of a single 18th century style nave, it can observed the neoclassical style high altar dating back to the 18th century and the frescoes on the ceiling, made by Giovanni Pittini da Tarcento in 1882. Also noteworthy is the baroque altar allocated in the the entrance wall and the bare Roman sarcophagus embellished with a plaited cross engraved in the early Middle Ages found in 1962 during excavations around the church.
