In the new part of the church, built in false historical styles, mosaics on pasteboards made by Fred Pittino can be observed. In the old part (no longer used since the earthquake of 1976), dedicated to San Michele, the restoration work brought to light the last known frescoes painted by Gian Paolo Thanner (dating back to 1555), now detached from the walls and currently being restored.
